Data Center Watch is a public lookup tool for existing, planned, and proposed data centers in the US, Canada, and UK.

Methodology

Each entry includes a facility name, type, location, status, confidence level, and source link. We do not predict future development — we surface what can be verified from public records and reputable reporting.

Data sources

Facility data is maintained manually and imported via CSV. There is no automated scraping in the MVP. If you spot an error, use the report form.

FAQ

Does this predict whether a data center will be built? No. Results summarize known facilities and public planning signals near your search — they are not forecasts.

Which countries are supported? The United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.

Confidence levels

Confirmed — corroborated by official records or operator announcements.

Reported — credible reporting or community tips that still need verification.
